A few months ago, we began the product design and launch planning for our limited edition Cherry Blossom Beauty Collection. A chance to 1) shine some light on our incomparable beauty blend duo, 2) pay homage to our Founder and CEO’s Japanese heritage and celebrate the tradition of eating for beauty through formulas past down for generations, and 3) joyfully welcome spring and the annual blooms in our Nation’s Capital (and Apothekary’s birthplace). Never did we anticipate a global pandemic to rear its head and reset priorities overnight. 

As we all work quickly to adjust to the ever-evolving world around us, last week the National Parks Association made the necessary, but heartbreaking decision to restrict access to the blossoms. Each year, millions of people come to observe the magic the blossoms create in the Nation’s Capital, so it goes without saying … there’s a whole lot of compounded sadness ‘round here.

Contains the vibrant hued flower, Hibiscus, known for its exceptional antioxidant content and combines well with two beauty-boosting anti-aging adaptogens, Cordyceps and Chaga Mushroom, to promote a youthful glow from the inside out. 

Best for: Oily and breakout prone skin. Due to its rich antioxidant rich profile and collagen, which naturally our bodies produce but post 30 declines at 1% per year, this blend can be a powerful change agent for those that suffer with inflammatory skin issues. A note to our vegan friends, given the collagen this blend isn’t compliant for you. But, Better Than Botox is, read on!  

BETTER THAN BOTOX 

Our most popular blend, for good reason.  It's a 3x superfood berry blend with Mother Nature's most potent sources of instantly bioavailable nutrients: Sea Buckthorn, Schisandra Berry and Camu Camu. These three berries contain Mother Nature's richest sources of omega 7's, Vitamin C, D, and E, and as a result, our bodies get the antioxidants we need to fight signs of rapid aging.

Best for: Dry, dull skin. If you’re prone to flaking, red, or itchy skin, Better Than Botox is rich in omega content from Sea Buckthorn, a key active ingredient that acts a lot like a tall glass of water when you’re dehydrated.
