Detox the Retox: Burdock Ginseng Immunitea Recipe

Long used in Eastern Asian medicine, specifically in Korea (we all know they have secrets we didn't know about..ahem, K-Beauty), as a liver detoxifer and blood purifier, Burdock Root combined with Ginseng is a powerhouse duo for reducing the risks of cancer and boosting immunity.  

 

This immunity boosting tea recipe is zesty, aromatic, and warms you from the inside. So, if it's cold out, you're not feeling well, or you simply enjoy the sensation of warm liquid in your belly, give ginseng tea a try. Swap out your cup of joe for a cup of the tea and reap the benefits.

 

Burdock Ginseng Immunitea Recipe 

Ingredients 

2 tbsp Burdock Root

1 tbsp Ginseng

1 tsp Echinacea

Optional: 1 tsp Honey or your preferred sweetener

24 oz Hot Water

*Serves 3 servings

 

Instructions

  1. Gather the ingredients.
  2. If you have a tea ball, then put Burdock and Ginseng into​ the tea ball.
  3. Steep in very hot (but not boiling) water for 5 minutes.
  4. Add Echinacea and stir
  5. Add honey to taste.
